Oetla Simankane | Senior Pastor
Pastor Oetla Simankane is a child of God, blessed to be born again as a member of the family of God. He was nurtured into the knowledge of God by Pastor O. N. Simankane and Pastor L. P. Simankane who are both ministers of the gospel in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and made their home their first point of service.
The Adventist educational system helped to nurture from Solusi Primary School, Anderson High School until he accepted the call of God to service in ministry. Pastor O received his Theological training at Avondale College, Australia and later at Adventist University of Africa
Masters in Biblical and Theological Studies with a focus on Systematic Theology.
Pastoral Service over 17 years has been enriching and satisfying. Over this period he served in Botswana for 7 years from 2007 until 2014. The next 7 years of ministry have been in South Africa. Sharing the love of Christ in fulfilment of the Great Commission of Christ to make disciples is most satisfying and fuels his passion for the work at Sandton Church.
On 09/10/11 God brought him together with his dear wife Refilwe, the joy of his life, and together have been blessed with a daughter, Renesetse.
Translated, Oetla means He is Coming and signifies the Second Coming of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. “Even so, come Lord Jesus” Revelation 22:20
